At Cornell, I studied Information Science with a concentration on UX Design. I honed my skills when I was accepted into Cornell AppDev — the premium app development organization at Cornell, that creates and prototype new apps from scratch for 15k + daily users from the Cornell and Ithaca communities. On AppDev, I grew from being a product designer on apps that were 5 years old, to being the product manager of brand new apps. I’ve learned how to define a product roadmap geared towards product launch, lead a cross functional team of developers, designers and marketers through this roadmap, and define and analyze success metrics to make design decisions on AppDev’s newest app, Scooped. Scooped is a ride share platform that connects students who are traveling to the same location, and was launched on the App Store in May 2023.

I’m passionate about making a meaningful social impact by telling the user’s story to create intentional designs that will directly solve their problems. Last summer, I worked as a Design & Research Intern at Twitter where I had the opportunity to further their mission of empowering users to create and share ideas and information by redesigning the search engine on their developer platform. During my internship, I collaborated with stakeholders and presented my high fidelity prototypes to senior leadership, and handed off my designs to the engineering team who shipped the designs to be implemented and launched.

Currently, at NBC I’m growing my product thinking and visual design skills in the media industry. During my rotations, I’ve understood the intersection of technology and media from designing graphics for Saturday Night Live, to leading a competitor analysis on the use of AI chatbots on product review platforms.
